How It Works
Pre-workshop consult (30 mins) - Discuss you and your hound's relationship, environment, and lifestyle for customisation.
Workshop (2 hours) - Virtual: Analyse videos, illustrations, and photos to decode unique canine signals. In-Person: Observe and practice reading live body language signals with your hound.
Key learnings - Spot body language cues, link to emotions/intentions, and respond for safety and understanding.
Outcomes - Guardians gain skills to read signals like stress, play, or fear, reducing risks and building stronger bonds.
What you'll learn
Read subtle canine body language: facial expressions, eyes, ears, mouth, hair, tail, posture, and vocalisations like barking or growling.
Identify emotions such as aggression, fear, anxiety, happiness, and calming signals (including debunking dog guilt).
Understand dog-to-dog communication, play behaviours, and pre-empting dog actions.
Adjust your body language to communicate effectively: use greeting protocols and avoid hindering signals.
